US Open. Market Overview for 18.08.2016

Pre Market:
The S& P500 Future is trading down 0.1%. The Dax is trading 0.3% higher. European Stock are trading higher in general. Oil producer stocks gaining the most, due to higher oil prices. Vestas, the Danish Wind-Turbine producer gained 9.6% after very good quarterly earnings, reaching a new all-time high. The renewable energy business going very well for Vestas. After presenting good number, Wal-Mart rose 3% in pre-market trading. Initial Jobless Claims rose slightly. The British Pound showed particular strength after very good retail sales data. Gold and WTI Oil rose. We expect a weaker opening on Wall Street.

The S&P500 is in an upwards trend. We expect a continuation of this trend.
Nasdaq 100
The Nasdaq 100 is in an upward trend. We expect a continuation of this trend.
