Forex Demo Trading Account
All successful traders started their Forex trading career with a Forex Demo Account. It’s an exceptional opportunity to test trading strategies and skills without any risk of losing real money. However, for some traders a Forex Demo Account can be a very useful tool, for others - quite exhausting. The point is that after using a Demo Account for a long time, one may lose a sense of reality and start thinking that the money involved in trading is real. That’s why a good piece of advice is: use a Forex Demo Account, but within limits.
What is a forex demo account?
Demo Account is a unique tool for both beginners and experienced traders. It is strongly recommended to start trading at Forex market using a Demo Account. Opening of a Demo Account won’t take much time and, more important, any money, as it is absolutely free.
Forex Demo Account is not only about learning basics of currency market, but also about an opportunity to become a good strategist, evaluate quality of broker services that you have chosen to trade with. While using your Demo Account you will learn how a trading terminal operates: buying/selling currency pairs and other instruments, using technical analysis indicators, creating trend line at the chart, etc.
How to open a Free Forex Demo Account?
RoboForex offers its clients two ways to open a Forex Demo Account.
1. In your Live Account
This is the most popular way to open Demo Account among our clients, because a wide range of services provided by RoboForex is available in Live Account. You can deposit you Demo Account with virtual money, change leverage, etc. The complete list of available services for Demo Accounts can be found in a respective section of "Live Account".
Note! Only Demo Account opened in Live Account are allowed to participate in the Demo Account Contest.
2. In the MetaTrader4 client terminal
Opening of a Free Forex Demo Account will take you the following steps:
1. Download and install the Download MetaTrader 4 trading terminal to your computer.
2. After the MetaTrader is installed and launched, you need to right-click on "Accounts" ("Navigator" section, which is below "Market Watch" section) and then left-click on "Open an Account".
3. Complete the registration form. Choose Leverage and Deposit for Your forex online demo account. Choose "I agree to subscribe to your newsletters by marking the checkbox". Click "Next" button to proceed.
4. After trading servers are found, choose "Roboforex Demo" and click Next button to proceed.
5. Your Free Forex Demo Account is open. This window shows your registration information: Name (a person who opened an account), Account Type (demoforex), and Deposit. Remember Login and Password, you’ll need them to access your account in the terminal.
6. Once your Demo Forex Account is open, you can view information about current status of your account (balance, equity, free margin) in the bottom part of the terminal using Trade, Account History, Alerts, Mailbox, and Journal sections.
