Example 1. You’ve attracted 40 clients to open trading accounts of “Fix” type. An average trading volume of your clients is 0.3 lots a day (EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, and GBPUSD currency pairs). If trading volume is less than 3,000 lots a month, an average commission is $13.75 for 1 lot (up to 50% of spread). Let’s calculate the IB’s commission:
  • 0.3 lots * 22 (an average number of working days in a month) * 40 (a number of clients) * $13.75 (an average commission for EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, and GBPUSD currency pairs) = $3,630.
  • the following month you will receive 10% of this sum as a bonus, thus your commission for attracted clients’ trading volume will be $3,993.
Example 2. You’ve attracted 150 clients to open trading accounts of “Fix” type. An average trading volume of your clients is 1 lot a day (EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, and GBPUSD currency pairs). If trading volume is more than 3,000 lots a month, an average commission is $18.25 for 1 lot (up to 75% of spread). Let’s calculate the IB’s commission:
  • 1 lot * 22 (an average number of working days in a month) * 150 (a number of clients) * $18.25 (an average commission for EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, and GBPUSD currency pairs) = $60,225.
  • the following month you will receive 10% of this sum as a bonus, thus your commission for attracted clients’ trading volume will be $6,6247.5
