US Open. Market Overview for 24.08.2016

Pre Market:
The S& P500 Future is trading slightly higher at +0.03%. The DAX has gained 0.49%. After a weak start, the DAX rose over 1% during morning trading. The strongest performers in the DAX were
Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank. In other European markets, Financial stock were favored as well. As such, Unicredit in Italy rose 5%. The Euro Stoxx 50 Index has broken the strong resistance at 3000 on the upside. We expect more upside. The USD is gaining on the Euro, only gaining slightly on the Yen. We expect a slightly higher open on Wall Street.
S&P 500
The S&P500 is in an upwards trend. Short term we are in a sideways move. Resistance is at 2197 and support is to be found at 2150.
Nasdaq 100
The Nasdaq 100 is in an upward trend. We expect a continuation of this trend.
