US Open. Market Overview for 14.10.2016

Pre-Market:

The S&P 500 is trading up 0.43% pre-market. The DAX gave a strong performance after its three day losing streak, gaining 1.54%. Amongst today´s gaining stocks is RWE, gaining +4.82%. In America, JP Morgan, Citigroup and Wells Fargo released the quarterly result. JP Morgan and Citi showed good results, which exceeded analysts` expectations. Both made good profits on their bond operations. Wells Fargo announced a reduction in profits by 2.6%, due to higher budget provisions. Janet Yellen is due to speak this evening during a conference at the Boston Fed. We expect a higher open to Wall Street. The USD is trading firmer. Gold weakens and WTI Oil rises 0.79%

S&P 500

The S&P 500 is in a sideways trend. Resistance is at 2200 and support at 2115.

Nasdaq 100

The Nasdaq 100 is in a sideways trend. Resistance is at 4900 and support is seen at 4800.
