US Open. Market Overview for 04.10.2016

Pre-Market

The S&P 500 is unchanged in premarket trading. The DAX is continuing its rebound from Friday, gaining 0.65%. Automotiv stocks are today´s best performers amongst others, BMW gains 2.83%. Strongest automotive stock is Porsche, rising 3.4% on the back of beating their US sales record in September, by selling as many cars as never before. European markets are dominated by the Brexit, whilst the GBP weakens, the FTSE records a new all-time high. We expect a slightly higher open on Wallstreet.  The USD is trading firmly against the Yen and Euro putting Gold under pressure at -1.71%, WTI Oil also weakens.

The S&P 500 is trending sideways. Resistance is at 2200 and support at 2115

Nasdaq 100

The Nasdaq 100 is in an upward trend.
