USD/JPY is declining, buyers’ interest is disappearing. On Thursday, Japanese Yen is rising against US Dollar. Currently the pair holds at 101.63. The Japanese has been rising for the four trading sessions so far.
According to the data released today, in the second quarter Japanese GDP rose 0.2% q/q while analysts were sure the growth rate was to stay intact. GDP has gained 0.7% year-to-date. It turns out that this year the Japanese economy has been only growing up. Previous data showed extremely irregular dynamics.
Alternative statistics turned to be very interesting. Thus, August current situation index by Eco Watchers rose to 45.6 points against expectation 45.2. August advanced conditions index climbed to 47.4 points. All those factors as a whole gave support for Yen. Falling interest in US Dollar was another support too.
