It is based on evaluations of more than eight thousand corporations, firms, and institutions based on the following economic parameters: business conducting conditions, price levels, demand and proposal, production and sale, direct investments, income, employment, taxation conditions. Tankan Survey is the most important Japanese indicator, has significant forex market influence, and is published on a quarterly basis.
