A consumer survey regarding their confidence level in the current economic situation. It is conducted by employees of the Michigan University of the USA. The provisional results are released on the second week of the month, the final results – two weeks later. Michigan Sentiment Index has limited online forex market influence. A value increase of this index leads to the US dollar rate growth. The indicator is a reflection of consumer desire to spend their money, it is published twice a month.
