Current Account Balance

The indicator showing ratio of payments from foreign countries and payments abroad. In case the incoming funds exceed the outgoing, Current Account Balance of the country is active (surplus), which results in positive effect on the national currency rate growth. Otherwise, Current Account Balance of the country is passive (shortfall), which results in online forex market limitation. In the USA, the data on Current Account Balance is published quarterly in the middle of of the publication month, in Japan – in the middle of each month along with Trade Balance, in the Euro zone – after the 20th day of each month.
